Currently, 9 ground-breaking ‘Strategic Basic Research for clusters (cSBO)’ projects and 3 ‘Later Stage Innovation (LSI)’ projects are supported by the Flemish government, totalling 18.334.705 EUR worth of subsidies. These projects are intensive collaborations between the universities and research institutes of UGent, KULeuven, UAntwerpen, UHasselt, VUB, VITO and Centexbel.
