The Flemish government has approved a first series of projects within the Moonshot initiative. In total, 9 cSBO and 3 LSI projects received support worth more than 18 million euro. With this support, Flemish universities and other research institutes can start working on breakthrough technologies and ground-breaking innovations to make Flemish industries carbon circular and low in CO2 by 2050.
Door samen in te zetten op minder CO2-uitstoot komen we tot een succesvolle klimaatstrategie. Daarom lanceert Vlaams minister Philippe Muyters Moonshot, een innovatieprogramma van maar liefst 400 miljoen.
Vlaanderen gaat de komende twintig jaar elk jaar 20 miljoen euro investeren in innovatie en onderzoek om CO2-neutraal te worden tegen 2050. Dat heeft Vlaams minister van Economie en Innovatie Phillippe Muyters (N-VA) bekendgemaakt.
